Hospice of the Sacred Heart ushered in the holiday season Sunday with a festive Christmas Tree Lighting at their administrative offices in Moosic. Thank you to the many employees and families who braved the wind high atop Montage Mountain. Special thanks to Msgr. Thomas Muldowney, Pastor at Saint Catherine of Siena Parish in Moscow, for blessing the tree. Additional thanks to Dan Simrell and Angela Burke for leading the group in Christmas carols and to Mansour's Market Cafe for providing delicious hot chocolate and cookies. Santa Claus made a surprise appearance, handing out candy canes and greeting all the good boys and girls.
